Golden Sand and Laid Back Waves at Falasarna Beach

#holidayitinerary Falasarna Beach is the kind of place you roll up to and instantly want to stay all day. It’s wide, open, and has the softest golden sand ever. The water is super clear with gentle waves that are perfect for just floating around or doing absolutely nothing. We brought some snacks, found a shady spot under an umbrella, and just chilled hard. There’s plenty of space so it never felt crowded, even with other people around.

The beach has a wild, natural feel but still has a few places nearby where you can grab a cold drink or snack. The sunset here is unreal, like everything turns gold and pink. It’s peaceful, pretty, and just super easy to enjoy. If you’re looking for a beach in Crete that’s low key but beautiful, Falasarna hits all the right notes. Definitely one of our favorite beach hangs on the island.
