I went to Ba Na Hills, a popular theme park in Da Nang, Vietnam. It's elevated above the clouds! Be sure to visit on a nice day!
Ba Na Hills (Ba Na Hills) Da Nang
📍An Son Village, Hoa Ninh Commune, Hoa Vang District, Da Nang City, Vietnam
⚫︎Access
40-50 minutes by taxi from Da Nang city center.
It's often included in tours, so you might want to take advantage of those.
⚫︎Price
Adults: 900k (approx. JPY 5,200)
Children: 700k (approx. JPY 4,050)
Credit cards accepted🪪
Tickets are collected, so you can't keep them as souvenirs. I recommend purchasing a QR code ticket online in advance.
The price is high for Vietnam, but it includes the round-trip cable car ride and rides on the attractions, so you only have to pay for food, drinks, and souvenirs.
⚫︎Business Hours
6:30 AM - 9:00 PM
Varies by area.
⚫︎Cable Car
The cable car ride up the mountain is long, offering expansive, wide views. With a total length of 5,801 meters, an elevation gain of 1,368 meters, and a ride time of approximately 20 minutes, it's an experience you won't find anywhere else in Japan.
⚫︎Highlights
The Golden Bridge, home to the "Hand of God," is a must-see. On a clear day, you can gaze down at the clouds.
At a height of 1,414 meters, it stretches for 150 meters.
⚫︎To the Garden Area
Going across the Golden Bridge, you can stroll through the beautiful gardens and other areas. There are many well-maintained flowers and photogenic spots!
⚫︎To the Attraction Area
To reach the Fantasy Area, where the attractions are located, take another cable car. You'll be amazed by the numerous buildings modeled after medieval Europe. There's a go-kart-like attraction where you can adjust your own speed and race down the mountain, and this is my top recommendation!! !!
Ba Na Hills seems to be a staple of Da Nang tourism, and when I take a taxi in Da Nang, I'm often asked, "Have you been to Ba Na Hills?" This makes negotiations smooth, and there are plenty of taxis waiting for me on the way back, so transportation is also safe. It seems to still be under development, and you can see the construction of buildings. It seems to be updated every time I go, so I'm looking forward to what's to come!
