The Suoshi Agricultural Tourism Zone covers approximately 6,800 mu (approximately 1,000 acres) and boasts a superior natural environment and rich cultural heritage. The zone, centered around a 1,000-acre agricultural demonstration garden, offers beautiful rural scenery.

Key construction projects in 2009 included the final construction of the Cuiyuan Leisure Center's main building and related supporting facilities. This included a 12 million yuan investment in renovations, 5 million yuan in air conditioning and fire protection, 8.8 million yuan in the swimming pool, 840,000 yuan in the children's playground, and 2.1 million yuan in green paths. A 20 million yuan investment was also made in the first phase of the Hongchong Lake Scenic Area project, which involved dredging and expanding the lake to over 18,000 square meters. The project also connected the mountain and forest trails surrounding the scenic area, renovated the glacial remnants, Taizi Mountain, and the Zhou Dong Tomb, restoring their original layout.
