On this trip, we took the subway to Dongchon Station. From Exit 3, it wasn't long before we reached the start of the stunning cherry blossom avenue.

The Cherry Blossom Trail (벚나무길) stretches over 5 kilometers along the Geumho River, centered around the Ayang Bridge. It's a romantic corridor that combines a functional massage path with breathtaking views. Guide maps and information are provided along the trail, allowing visitors to relax and enjoy the cherry blossoms while enjoying a leisurely walk.

🍓 Roadside Surprise: Delicious and Affordable Strawberries

Along the way, we encountered friendly vendors selling fresh, plump strawberries at affordable prices. We bought half a portion (only 4,000 won) and savored them beneath the cherry trees. The sweet and sour fruit aroma, combined with the gentle spring breeze, was a feast for both the taste buds and the eyes!

Sunlight streamed through the cherry blossom forest, and the blossoms, resembling clouds and snow, danced gently in the wind. Revisiting the same trail at night, a light show illuminated the entire cherry blossom tunnel. The interlaced hues of purple, red, and blue cast a dreamlike image on the cherry blossoms. Compared to the ethereal beauty of daytime, the nighttime cherry blossoms imbue them with a sense of mystery and romance, making them unforgettable.

After our trip, we visited a nostalgic noodle shop run by a mother and daughter at Daegu Airport Market. Although the owners didn't speak Chinese, their warmth and hospitality were heartwarming. The chewy, springy noodles complement the fragrant charcoal-grilled meats—definitely worth a try!
