Located in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, Chungnam National University is famous for its wide and quiet campus.

When you pass the main gate and start walking along the Metasequoia Road,

you will find a walking path with alternating sunlight and shade.

In particular, if you sit on the lawn in front of the Central Library and spread out a mat,

you can enjoy your leisure time as if you were a real student.

A great place to walk with a cup of coffee.

The area around the Daejeon Government Complex can be reached in about 10 minutes by foot or car. The wide square and neat landscaping are impressive.

There are many people walking their dogs in the downtown park in front of the building,
and it is nice to sit on a bench and take a break while enjoying the breeze.

Since there is an administrative complex town nearby, there is a strange charm where stylish new buildings and traditional buildings coexist.

Although it is slightly away from the downtown area, it has a quiet and stable atmosphere.

‘Harupang’, located near the back gate of Chungnam National University,
is a local bakery famous for its soft-on-the-outside croissants, baked goods, and amber butter.

The signature items are the amber butter croissant and Earl Grey pound cake,
and everything from the visuals to the aromas is really luxurious and delicious.
It is recommended to visit in the morning or right after lunch as it is often sold out in the afternoon!

The interior is cozy and quiet. The staff are friendly and the bread display is pretty, so it feels like a restaurant with good photos.

Itmai Thai is located 5-10 minutes by car from Harupang.

It is an authentic Thai restaurant run by a local chef,
and its menus such as Tom Yum Kung, Pad Thai, and Green Curry are authentic Thai flavors.

The interior has a modern Thai mood and the smell of spices wafts~
The Pad Thai noodles are chewy, and the curry with rich coconut milk warms you up to the core.
The price range is a bit high, but the atmosphere and taste are both great, so it's worth it.
