Goose Spring
Equan is a massive spring covering over 50 mu (approximately 16 acres). Its waters gush out from cracks in the limestone, flowing into a deep pool before continuing eastward into the Equan River. Near the spring stands the Yangwu Temple. In front of the temple stand three massive stone tablets, including the "Equan Pavilion Stele" from the Qing Dynasty. These tablets contain historical accounts of the spring and poems inscribed on them. Inside, the temple walls are covered in numerous inscriptions, creating a tranquil and picturesque scene against the backdrop of the mountains and water. The spring is home to an abundance of carp. Legend has it that shouting loudly near the spring would cause the water to vibrate, startling the carp into leaping out. This is the famous Jingxi scene of "Equan Fish Leaping."
Psychic Canyon
Tongling Grand Canyon is located in Xinling Village, Hurun Town, 32 kilometers southeast of Jingxi County, at the southern end of the Gulong Mountain Water Source Forest Nature Reserve. Comprising the Nianba Gorge, Tonglingxia Gorge, Gulao Gorge, Xinling Gorge, and Xinqiao Gorge, it stretches over 10 kilometers. The Nianba River meanders gently down from the Gulong Mountains, passing through five gorges before flowing into the Hurun Terrace. Each canyon boasts a collection of rare natural and cultural attractions, including exceptionally high waterfalls, waterfalls within caves, underground rivers, canyon streams, spectacular caves, ancient stone ramparts, ancient hanging tombs, and pristine vegetation.
