Tucked away in the peaceful town of Daigo, Eigenji Temple—also known as the “Maple Temple”—is a hidden gem that quietly welcomes the changing seasons.
The maple leaves had just begun to turn during our visit, painting the temple grounds with soft hints of red and orange. Scattered around the area are small Jizo statues (guardian deities), creating a serene and slightly magical atmosphere as they peek out from beneath the trees.
Though not yet in full bloom, the early autumn colors already hinted at the beauty to come. I can only imagine how stunning it must be when the foliage reaches its peak.
Perfect for a quiet stroll, photography, or simply soaking in the calm of the season.
