A place in Southeast Asia where you can feel the French vibe.

After visiting Da Lat, I could sense a different atmosphere compared to other cities in Vietnam. The most notable points are the abundance of flowers and the overall relaxed demeanor of the people.

🩷 Room Type: Deluxe 2 Single Bed Room

Although there are Family Rooms and Executive Rooms available, since this was just a one-night trial stay and the benefits of upgrading weren't significant, the Deluxe Room was a suitable choice. It's a 4-star hotel with good room conditions and relatively spacious accommodations.

🩵 Facilities

The gym was under construction, so I couldn't use it. The swimming pool is large, and since there were no other users, it felt like having a private pool. However, it was too cold to stay in for long, so I could only enjoy about 30 minutes of splashing around when the sun was out.

Electric bicycles are available for rent, making it convenient to ride along the back roads of the Mercure. Even without using the buggy, you can walk around the property, and the variety of flowers makes it a satisfying place to visit with parents.

The breakfast offers a wide variety of options, including some Korean dishes. The most delicious item was the fried rice. Especially, the outdoor breakfast area provides a panoramic view of Da Lat city, making it a great spot for enjoying breakfast with a view.

🤎 Points to Note

The windows are not tinted, raising concerns about privacy. The bathroom has blinds, so it can't be left open, and the fabric shower curtain retains odors, which was quite unpleasant. Additionally, there is no elevator, which can be inconvenient when moving luggage.

Although it was just a brief one-night stay to relax, the cool weather and pleasant walking paths make it a great place to stay longer and enjoy a leisurely time.
