"Eating Across Yunnan: A Culinary Adventure Guide from Crossing-the-Bridge Rice Noodles to Wild Mushroom Hotpot"

🌸Dear friends, Dali is truly a super romantic place, full of wind, flowers, snow, and moon, relaxed and pleasant. Today, I’m sharing a Dali travel guide to help you easily explore this beautiful city!

🔔『Preparation』
• Documents: ID card, student ID (for discounts), etc.
• Clothing: Yunnan has a big temperature difference between day and night, bring warm jackets and light clothes. Prepare a thick down jacket for Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
• Skincare: The climate is dry, bring high SPF sunscreen and hydrating masks; don’t skip sun protection and moisturizing!

🏩『Accommodation Suggestions』
Stay in Guandu District in Kunming for convenient transportation; in Dali, stay by Erhai Lake for easy sunrise viewing; in Lijiang, choose a guesthouse inside the Old Town to experience Naxi culture.

🏞Must-Visit Attractions
1⃣ Erhai Lake: A must-visit in Dali! Rent an electric bike to ride along the Erhai ecological corridor and enjoy stunning lake views. The sunrise at Longkan Pier is beautiful, perfect for photos between 7-9 AM with a great atmosphere; Panxi Village’s S curve is great for posing, every shot looks like a masterpiece; and Shuanglang Ancient Town is perfect for watching the sunset, simply breathtaking.
2⃣ Dali Ancient Town: This thousand-year-old town is full of art and local life. Stroll the streets during the day to appreciate Bai architecture’s unique charm; at night, the People’s Road night market is lively with bars and handmade stalls, nightlife starts after 10 PM. Don’t forget to try Yang’s Rushan, grilled to golden crispness, super delicious.
3⃣ Xizhou Ancient Town: A well-preserved Bai village with spring rapeseed flowers and golden autumn rice fields, full of pastoral healing vibes. The corner tower and Xilinyuan’s yellow walls are very photogenic, fewer people at 8 AM for better shots. You can also visit Yan Family Courtyard for 25 RMB to see the Bai’s “Three Courtyards and One Screen Wall” architecture.
4⃣ Chongsheng Temple and Three Pagodas: Dali’s landmark and the prototype of the Tianlong Temple in Jin Yong’s novels. The reflection of the Three Pagodas in the park is stunning; shoot the pagodas against the light in the morning and the reflection with the light in the afternoon for a poetic effect. The electric shuttle in the scenic area is optional; you can walk around in about an hour.

**Must-Try Snacks**
- Erkuai (rice cake), Rushan (grilled or fried), Xizhou Baba (sweet and savory varieties), claypot fish.
- **Recommended Restaurants**: Yiheng Restaurant in the Ancient Town (Bai cuisine), Sifang Snacks on People’s Road.

💡Tips to Avoid Pitfalls
Dali has very strong UV rays, be sure to bring SPF50+ sunscreen and a hat for sun protection.
Don’t rent cheap electric bikes around Erhai Lake; they may run out of power halfway. Choose models with 200 km range.
The popular glass ball photo spots charge fees, but there are many similar free spots by Erhai Lake, don’t waste money.
Friends, quickly save this guide and start a romantic journey of wind, flowers, snow, and moon in Dali💕
