Absolutely in Love with This Seaside Guesthouse!

Who can relate? This seaside guesthouse in Dali has us coming back again and again! Every time we leave, I find myself silently chanting "I'll be back next time" at least 800 times.

Let’s talk about the divine location first: It’s nestled right on the Erhai Ecological Corridor, with sparkling views of Erhai Lake right outside the window! A 5-minute walk to Caicun Pier, and it’s way quieter than the Old Town. The ecological corridor is car-free, so you wake up to the sound of waves and bicycle bells every day—this is what a vacation should feel like!

🎨 Design lovers rejoice: The creamy aesthetic blends perfectly with the seaside vibe. The lobby combines modern luxury with subtle Chinese charm. Floating chandeliers, the interplay of wood and marble, and lush greenery everywhere—every snapshot is Instagram-worthy, and you’ll never stop taking photos with your friends!

🛏️ The guestroom experience is simply divine: We stayed in a 270° sea-view room, and it was phenomenal! Smart toilet + floor-to-ceiling bathtub—imagine soaking in the tub while gazing at the shimmering Erhai Lake. At night, you can open the automatic curtains to see the Milky Way hanging over the lake. Who can resist such romance? The room is minimalist and Instagram-inspired, clean and spacious, with thoughtful touches like disposable toilet seat covers and bath soak bags.

🍧 The amenities are heartwarming: Free afternoon tea is delivered to the terrace daily, so you can enjoy desserts while daydreaming by the lake—pure bliss! The breakfast rice noodles are super tasty, and the host can help you book a lakeside car tour at a cheaper rate than online—super convenient!

💖 What touched me the most was the pick-up service: Cars can’t enter the village, but the owner always picks us up, no matter how much luggage we have. That feeling of being genuinely cared for is just amazing!
