Lying Back and Enjoying Cangshan: The Complete Guide

On a rainy morning in Dali, following a post on Xiaohongshu, I took a taxi to the cable car entrance and ascended the mountain road. The vegetarian meal had to start at 11:00 AM, so I had to wait in line until 11:30 PM, otherwise there would be a lot of people.
It was already 11:30 AM when we began our ascent, and I was feeling anxious 😓. After two months of traveling and encountering various challenges, my greatest reward wasn't the food or the scenery, but the present moment—everything was perfectly planned.
The rainy Cangshan Mountain made the area even brighter and clearer. Upon arrival, I was struck by the blooming hydrangeas. Once inside the temple, I saw the succulents blooming vibrantly. Every corner of the temple was meticulously decorated, and the vegetarian meal was delicious.
After dinner, the crowds dispersed, and I could truly experience the tranquility of the temple while sitting inside. I ordered a cup of coffee or a pot of tea, savoring it carefully, letting my body truly relax and my mind settle. This is Dali after the rain. I remember! #Cangshan
