Introducing Xinle Ruins Museum

The Xinle Ruins Museum, located in Huanggu District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, is a site museum dating back to the early Neolithic period in China.

Established in July 1986, the museum houses nearly 10,000 Neolithic relics unearthed from the Xinle site.

The types include pottery, chipped stone tools, ground stone tools, microliths, jade, bone tools, wood carvings and jet products. The exhibition is divided into two exhibition halls and a Xinle lower house site.

The Xinle Ruins were officially opened in May 1985, and were converted into the Xinle Ruins Museum in 1986. In 1988, it was listed as a provincial cultural relic protection unit by the Liaoning Provincial People's Government, adding a new attraction to Shenyang's tourism industry and becoming a base and external window for patriotic and historical education for citizens.
