Dali Haidong Wabi-Sabi Style Boutique Stay! Infinity Pool Overlooking the Orange Sea

Only after coming to Dali did I understand what the "right way to enjoy a romantic vacation" really means! Located in Haidong Wenbi Village, just step outside to see Erhai Lake, with stunning views of the sunset and Cangshan Mountain. There’s a free parking lot for self-driving guests, perfect for the lazy ones who will be overjoyed~

The guesthouse is my absolute favorite wabi-sabi style! Beige Morandi tones + minimalist natural wood decor, from the lobby to the rooms exuding a gentle and sophisticated vibe. Every piece of furniture is like a work of art, making every photo shoot effortlessly beautiful. I booked the 4th-floor 270° half-mountain half-lake view suite, which has a private large terrace. Waking up to the morning light of Cangshan and Erhai, and lying on the terrace at night watching the stars, the privacy is perfect—socially anxious people will love it!

The room is fully equipped! Dyson hairdryer, Kohler bathroom, Australian Apellis toiletries, plus a Husky fridge and Nut projector. You can watch movies lying in bed, and the Carnation bedding is so soft you’ll sink right in. After one night, you won’t want to leave~

The service is also super thoughtful! The 24-hour butler was very enthusiastic from the moment of booking, proactively helping with luggage; free breakfast, afternoon tea, and welcome fruit are included. Breakfast is all-you-can-order, and the afternoon tea cakes are delicious; they even offer professional travel photography, so no need to find a photographer yourself. Taking photos by the infinity pool with the orange sea sunset is a total hit on social media!

The infinity pool in the public area is the highlight! Soaking in the pool in the afternoon while watching the sparkling Erhai Lake, and capturing the stunning orange sea sunset at dusk—posting about it will have everyone asking for the location~ If you don’t want to go out, the hotel also offers simple meals like pasta, desserts, and coffee, so you can handle two meals a day without leaving. Perfect for lazybones!

Transportation is super convenient! 30 minutes to the airport, 50 minutes to Dali Station, 15 minutes to Santorini, 20 minutes to Wase/Luowo Mountain, 40 minutes to Shuanglang—exploring Haidong is a breeze. Oh, and a bonus: just a 5-minute drive to the Green Skin Coffee Car, where you have a high chance of spotting a fairy-like celebrity’s ride!
