The most bourgeois place in Dalian is here, with small villas from the Japanese occupation era still standing

Over 100 years ago, the Japanese seized Dalian from the Russians and built many small villas on Nanshan Road. More than ten years ago, I specifically walked this road and found that most of these small houses were in dangerous condition. Although they were well-painted on the outside, they were dilapidated inside.
This time, returning to Dalian, I specifically came to Nanshan Road again, at the easternmost part of Nanshan Road. I immediately felt like I was in the most bourgeois place in the city, with beautiful yards, creative storefronts, and roadside cafes... A small neighborhood full of charm.
The last time I came here, they were still building townhouses, which are now completed. However, I feel they lack the charm of the old houses left behind. Maybe in the future, if this place is turned into a pedestrian street, it will become even more beautiful and quiet.
