Refreshing Scenic Spot and Food Paradise: Dalian Xinghai Square

If you're looking for a place to enjoy after indulging in the culinary delights of Dalian, head straight to Xinghai Square.

Nearby, you can visit the Dalian Forest Zoo and take a cable car to enjoy breathtaking views of the Xinghai Bay Bridge and the open sea. Although we had to skip the cable car ride due to the massive Labor Day holiday crowds, the stunning views near the boarding area were more than enough. We walked down to Xinghai Square, and the path was beautifully decked out like Korea's Namsan walking trails, making it a pleasant stroll with views of the sea, flowers, and trees.

Just before crossing the bridge to Xinghai Square, we stumbled upon a charming camper van coffee shop. Sitting there with a refreshing iced Americano while admiring the spectacular view was an unforgettable travel moment!

Xinghai Square is much larger than expected. It features an amusement park reminiscent of Wolmido, European-style restaurants, cafes, pubs along the coastal path, and even a beach for water activities.

At a pub with a view of the Xinghai Bay Bridge, we enjoyed Dalian beer and lamb skewers, which instantly washed away the fatigue of travel.

At night, the square comes alive with fountain shows, laser displays, and a bustling night market, making it a great spot to enjoy until late.

There's also a famous dim sum restaurant, Xiding, nearby, so it's highly recommended to visit both together!
