Recommended ocean view accommodations with great value for money, including location, convenience, and service 🌊

After much deliberation and research about where to stay during our short trip to Dalian, we decided on this hotel. Honestly, we didn't have a large budget, so we booked this hotel without high expectations, hoping for a decent hotel. It's only a seven-minute walk from the subway station on Line 2, and taxis from downtown are reasonably priced, so it seemed like a good choice. We arrived after 9:00 PM after a long day of sightseeing, and the first thing that caught our eye was the night view of the hotel building and the Dongbangsu Fortress from our window. At night, the soft lights of the buildings across the street blend in, creating a perfect atmosphere for enjoying both the city and the ocean at night.

The room itself was also satisfactory. It was spacious and clean, and the small kitchenette made it very convenient for a longer stay. Nearby attractions like Pavilion, Xi'an Road, and Xinghai Square are all accessible via the subway without needing to transfer, making it a great location for sightseeing, shopping, and strolling.

I heard that this building is shared by two hotels, so when checking in, you call a staff member in the lobby and they'll come down to you to personally guide you. While it's not the typical hotel check-in process, it wasn't inconvenient. Adding a WeChat account upon check-in allowed me to communicate directly with them not only during check-in but also with any questions or requests during my stay, which was incredibly convenient!

During my stay, I had to ask the staff for help twice via WeChat due to personal issues, and I was impressed by their prompt and friendly response. Thanks to that, I was able to get through the trip without any major issues. 🥹

When checking out, I just left my elevator key in the room and sent a text message to let them know I was checking out, which was surprisingly convenient.👍🏻

There's a convenience store on the first floor of the hotel, so I didn't have to go far in the middle of the night. The delivery driver left it right at my door, so I didn't have to go all the way to the pickup area. It was so convenient! The hair dryer and shower amenities in the room were all excellent quality. The hotel did a great job of taking care of the little things that can be difficult to take care of on a short trip, making my trip much more comfortable. The only downside is that the air conditioning is automatically controlled in the summer, so it's a bit tricky to fine-tune the temperature, but I think it's worth keeping that in mind. Still, I was very satisfied with my overall stay!
