Shenyang, China is the former capital of the Qing Dynasty, and the palace remains from before it was moved to Beijing.
You can feel a strong sense of returning to the past by looking at the early Qing Dynasty-style palace and young people taking pictures in Qing Dynasty costumes.
Dandong, China is within easy reach of Shenyang by high-speed rail.
The Yalu River Bridge, which still bears the scars of the Korean War, and the sight of North Korea that seems close enough to touch from the bridge make you feel the reality of a divided country.
The Hosan Great Wall, which departs by bus from Dandong Train Station every hour (about 40 minutes), is a light trekking course where you can see the Sinuiju spread out right in front of you from the closest distance.
