This summer vacation, I’m back again to check in at the Hushan Great Wall in Dandong!

Standing on this relic that carries the history of ancient military defense, you can actually see North Korea directly! Holding my telephoto camera📷 clicking nonstop, the scene across the river shocked me for the whole year!👀

👨‍🌾On the North Korea side:
• Lots of people working in the fields
• Mechanized equipment is rare
• A vast expanse of green as far as the eye can see
• Occasionally a few small houses

🏗️On the Dandong side:
• Skyscrapers everywhere
• Bustling traffic and crowds
• Strong modern vibe

The Yalu River runs right in the middle, just a few hundred meters apart, as if separating two eras... The visual impact is really intense! Who else gets this, family?😱

✨Travel tips:
1. Be sure to bring a telephoto lens! Only then can you see the other side clearly
2. It’s best to come on a sunny day for better visibility
3. You can also take a boat tour on the Yalu River
4. Wear comfortable shoes, climbing the Great Wall is quite tiring
