I've returned from Chongzuo, and I really don't recommend visiting in July.

Attractions

• Detian Transnational Waterfall Scenic Area: The largest transnational waterfall in Asia, with spectacular scenery. You can take a bamboo raft to experience the waterfall up close and enjoy Vietnamese coffee nearby.

• Mingshi Pastoral Scenery: The filming location for the TV series Journey of Flower, with beautiful mountains and rivers. You can take a bamboo raft to tour the Mingshi River or ride a bicycle through the green fields.

• Chongzuo Taiping Ancient Town: A historic town with a blend of cultures. At night, the ancient town is beautifully illuminated against the backdrop of the Zuo River.

• Longgu Bay Tourist Resort: Features a variety of amusement facilities and dinosaur-themed landscapes, suitable for family trips.

• Huashan Rock Painting Cultural Landscape: A World Cultural Heritage site and the only rock painting heritage site in China. The rock paintings vividly record the life of the ancient Luoyue people.

Food Recommendations

• Mingshi River Snails: From the Mingshi River, these snails have plump meat and are stir-fried with sour bamboo shoots and chili peppers for a sour and spicy flavor.

• Jiangzhou Oil Tea: Made with glutinous rice, tea leaves, and other ingredients, it has a rich and mellow flavor. Enjoy it with fried dough sticks, peanuts, and other snacks.

• Tiandeng Smoked Duck: A traditional specialty with crispy skin and fragrant meat. Delicious whether steamed or braised.

• Zuo River Fish Salad: A traditional Zhuang delicacy made with fresh freshwater fish, served with lemon leaves and other spices for a sour and spicy appetizer.

• Pingxiang Baguette: Influenced by Vietnamese culture, the baguette has a crispy crust and can be filled with meat, vegetables, and other ingredients.

Transportation Guide

• External Transportation: You can first arrive in Nanning, then transfer to a bus or train to Chongzuo. There is a direct bus from Nanning Wuxu International Airport to Chongzuo.

• Internal Transportation: There are buses in Chongzuo City, but they may not be convenient for reaching some scenic spots. Taxis or chartered cars are recommended.
