📌 Location: Cao Bang Province, Vietnam

Ban Gioc Waterfall surprised me with its sheer size and beauty. Nestled right on the border of Vietnam and China, it’s one of Southeast Asia’s largest waterfalls—and still largely untouched by mass tourism. I took a bamboo raft close to the crashing falls and felt the spray on my face. Surrounding rice fields, limestone karsts, and peaceful villages added to the magic. The area is lush and green, with easy trails for exploration. Unlike more famous sites, it’s tranquil and authentic. A fantastic off-the-beaten-path gem that combines nature, culture, and adventure.
