Oh my god! Jiuzhaigou at the end of October is truly the child favored by autumn! I stayed here for three days, and every day I was left speechless by the beauty—the colorful forest is like a splashed oil painting, the lakes are shattered sapphires, and every few steps I wanted to scream; my phone storage simply couldn't hold all the photos!

🌊 Captivated by the color of the lakes

The early morning "Five Flower Lake" completely captivated me! Sunlight filters through the colorful forest onto the water surface, with blue, green, and orange light spots swaying underwater, as if the entire rainbow was crushed and spread across the lake. Walking slowly along the boardwalk, every corner refreshed my understanding of "beauty."
At noon, I zoned out listening to the flowing water at "Pearl Shoal." Water flows down the calcified shoal, really like a layer of flowing pearls! When I reached the filming location of "Journey to the West," I almost hummed "You carrying the load~," and childhood memories instantly overwhelmed me.
The evening "Long Lake" is so quiet that you dare not speak loudly. The lake water is a deep blue, reflecting the golden forest, and occasionally a falling leaf drifts by. That scene is as beautiful as a dream.

🍁 Be the fairy tale protagonist in the colorful forest

The morning mist at "Arrow Bamboo Lake" is so magical! The bamboo forest and colorful forest appear faintly in the mist, and the water surface is as calm as a mirror, reflecting the entire autumn. I stayed here for a whole hour just waiting for a breeze to see how the ripples break and restore the reflection.
The moment I stepped into the "Primeval Forest," the pine needles on the ground rustled underfoot, sunlight leaked through the tree gaps, and even the air smelled sweetly of pine. There was no noise here, only the most original breath of nature.
The biggest surprise was "Reed Lake"! Golden reeds swayed in the autumn wind, while the nearby lake was emerald green like jade. The collision of these two extreme colors was so beautiful I couldn’t look away.

Timing is crucial: October 20 to early November is truly the peak, with the most vibrant colorful forests and the bluest lakes—every photo looks like a masterpiece.
Outfit tips: Light-colored clothes go perfectly with the colorful forest! I wore a beige sweater, and my friends said the photos had a great atmosphere.
Be sure to get up early: Jiuzhaigou is less crowded and more beautiful in the early morning, and you can see the morning mist on the lake, making the experience even better.
Leave some time to zone out: Don’t just rush to check in, find a bench to sit quietly and feel this autumn-only beauty.

Shooting with the light enhances the lake’s color saturation, backlighting adds layers to the colorful forest.
A telephoto lens is very useful to avoid crowds and capture details.
The light after 4 PM is the gentlest, perfect for portraits.
