The mountain homestays in Dayi are truly amazing, with water play, swimming, and watching fireflies;

🍃 There are so many places to play in the water in the mountains of Dayi. This time, we found another homestay in the mountains where you can play in the water, swim, catch cicadas, hike, and watch fireflies; there are so many activities that the kids didn’t want to leave at all;
🍖 The homestay costs 268 yuan per night, including breakfast, and you can also enjoy a self-service barbecue; it uses charcoal, and all the ingredients are very fresh. The meat is sourced from local farmers by the owner, and the vegetables are freshly cut, super fresh; once finished, new ones are served; each table also gets 2 bamboo tube rice sticks for the kids to eat; in the evening, there is an outdoor movie screening where you can barbecue and eat meat while watching the movie. A group of kids happily sit in rows on stools in the yard, having a great time;
The owner thoughtfully provides boxes for catching cicadas, water guns, and nets for the kids; they can catch cicadas right in the yard. Around 8 pm, you can also see fireflies by the roadside nearby. We caught two to show the kids and released them early the next morning; the yard is really quiet at night, and you can see fireflies there too;
🛟 We discovered a natural swimming pool inside the homestay, formed by the convergence of mountain spring water, with water continuously flowing in and out. It’s super clean, though it’s a bit cold to get in early in the morning, but the kids weren’t afraid of the cold at all and jumped right in to swim and play;
A creek runs through the homestay, where you can wade and play in the water, and there’s a waterfall flowing down; it’s cool in the morning and evening; really super comfortable; and not crowded;
This is also the starting point for the Longwozi hiking trail. You can park your car right at the homestay entrance and go hiking and playing in the water on the mountain; there are really so many ways to enjoy this place, and the natural environment is excellent;
