[Fukuoka] A small shrine that became the setting for "Reiwa"

Sakamoto Hachiman Shrine

This shrine is associated with the phrase "In the first month of spring, the weather is fine and the wind is gentle," which became the basis for the name Reiwa!

It has been worshiped as the local deity and guardian deity of the Sakamoto area.

It is located far from the station and is not very accessible, so I took a taxi to get there.

It is about a 10-minute walk from the Dazaifu Exhibition Hall.

It is located in the same Dazaifu city as Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, and is a hidden tourist spot, so why not visit it once?

Address:
3-14-23 Sakamoto, Dazaifu City, Fukuoka Prefecture

Access:
About 25 minutes on foot from Nishitetsu "Tofuro-mae" station, about 40 minutes on foot from Nishitetsu "Dazaifu" station
