Dazaifu City, Fukuoka Prefecture
This is a nationally famous shrine known as the home of the deity of learning.⛩
During the annual hydrangea season, the chozuya (purification fountain) is adorned with floating hydrangeas, creating a charming flower chozuya.
The vibrant hydrangeas bring a sense of peace to visitors.
Not only the flower chozuya, but you can also see many hydrangeas as you walk around.
There are also irises in the pond, which come in various colors and are worth stopping to admire.
It seems there will be a light-up event as well, so I hope to visit during that time this year. (◦ˉ ˘ ˉ◦)
The main shrine is still undergoing major renovations, so you can see a special temporary shrine.
