Kamado Shrine

Origin of the Name
The name "Kamado Shrine" is said to originate from a legend where Empress Jingu built a hearth to worship the gods⛩️! Who would have thought it would later become a sacred site for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba?
According to my daughter, the mountain where Tanjiro trained resembles this place💡

Connection to Demon Slayer⚔️
Kamado Shrine is called a sacred site for Demon Slayer not only because of the name but also due to its reputation as a shrine that wards off demons, and the mystical atmosphere of Mount Hōman aligns with the world of the series⛰️. It's also well-known among fans that the author is from Fukuoka💡

Blessings of Kamado Shrine
Kamado Shrine has long been known for blessings such as "matchmaking," "protection from misfortune," and "warding off evil⛩️." It is widely cherished as a shrine that helps forge good connections, not only between men and women but also with family, friends, work, and nature🌱.
There are many matchmaking charms available, and I spent nearly 10 minutes deciding which one to choose! They even have strawberry charms and traffic safety charms, making the process of selecting charms enjoyable.
This place is not only a haven for Demon Slayer fans but also a relaxing spot for people of all ages🫶🏻.
The autumn foliage is said to be beautiful, so I’d love to visit again during the fall season🍁.

How to Get There: 100-yen Bus from Dazaifu Station🚌
From Nishitetsu Dazaifu Station, you can take the community bus "Mahoroba" for just 100 yen one way🚍. It's a local bus service, making it very affordable🫶🏻. (On weekdays, it’s also used by elementary school students commuting to and from school💡.)
It’s convenient even without a car!

Conclusion
Although I visited Kamado Shrine because of my daughter's favorite anime, I ended up feeling recharged myself🍁. Whether you go with family or drop by alone, it’s highly recommended⛩️.
