Dazaifu Tenmangu, one of Japan's most famous Tenmangu shrines, is said to be a popular destination for those hoping to pass exams or achieve academic success. Every year, people flock to Dazaifu Tenmangu to buy talismans. I used my rail pass to take the subway to Dazaifu Station and walked there! There's a path leading to Dazaifu Tenmangu. Here, you can rent traditional Japanese clothing, take photos, and find plenty of delicious food. It's also a great place to buy talismans and visit during your trip to Fukuoka.
