The Huaguoshan rafting project is located in the core scenic area of Huaguoshan. It is one of the supporting leisure and tourism projects created by the Huaguoshan 5A scenic area. It is a single-slide rafting project artificially built using the original mountain stream of the scenic area. The starting point of the slide is located at the Dinghaishenzhen scenic spot, and the end point is at Jiulong Bridge. It is 1,060 meters long, 5 meters wide, and has a height difference of 230 meters, ranking first in the country.
The rafting route begins at an upper dam with a water storage capacity of approximately 1,800 cubic meters. Along the way, there are more than a dozen slides with slopes ranging from 30 to 65 degrees, equipped with buffer pools. The rafting boats are all state-of-the-art self-draining hulls. The rafting river can release approximately 150 boats per hour.
The river features a single slide, flanked by steep mountains, lush vegetation, and abundant water, flowing year-round. It offers a comprehensive experience combining adventure, valley charm, and urban leisure. Unlike some scenic areas that utilize natural river rafting, the rafting here utilizes the original mountain streams of Huaguo Mountain, cleaned and constructed into a cement slide. While highly safe, the dramatic drop provides an exceptionally thrilling experience.
The temperate monsoon climate creates a refreshing coolness when the rafting boats glide down the steeply sloped slide, sending the water high into the air and splashing down on you. The best time to visit is from July to October.
Experience the excitement and thrill of rafting in Huaguoshan and have fun.
It is recommended to play for about 2 hours.
