📍Dead Sea, Jordan
🚘The Dead Sea is about an hour's drive from Amman
The Dead Sea on the Jordanian side is Israel's territory
The lowest point on Earth (about 430 meters below sea level)
It is called the Dead Sea because the high salt content makes it difficult for living things to survive.
💬The mud and water of the Dead Sea are rich in minerals, so they are effective in treating skin diseases, arthritis, asthma, etc., and many people visit for cosmetic purposes.
It is also said to be good for atopic dermatitis.
⚠️It is about 10 times saltier than regular seawater, so it floats easily, but be careful not to get it in your eyes.
Mud packs are possible, and there are safety guards.
💬The Dead Sea is in a great environmental crisis because the water level is rapidly decreasing, and its area is decreasing day by day. I recommend you to lock it up once when possible, because you never know when all the seawater will evaporate.
