[Floating in the sea?] Dead Sea

The Dead Sea is a salt lake that borders Israel, the West Bank, and Jordan. Its surface is over 400 meters below sea level, making it the lowest point on land. Its high salinity gives it great buoyancy, and the mineral-rich black mud is used for medical and beauty treatments at nearby resorts.

This time, we went on a hotel tour from Jordan.

I entered the water hesitantly, but I was able to float. It was my first experience and I was surprised. I borrowed a magazine from someone nearby and asked them to take my picture.
What's more, the Dead Sea is located at a lower elevation than the sea.
