The Dead Sea in Jordan: An unforgettable experience 🌊🌞

The Dead Sea in Jordan is definitely a unique experience, and the best part? The visit is completely free! 🙌 But, as amazing as it sounds, it’s not quite as incredible as you might imagine. While it’s one of the lowest points on Earth, and the sensation of floating effortlessly in the water is undeniably cool 🏊, you can’t stay in the water for long. The salinity is so high that it gets uncomfortable after a while 🧂. I would recommend visiting if you’re nearby—it's accessible by car from anywhere in Jordan 🚗.

If you’re thinking of splurging on a resort, I wouldn't suggest it. You can easily visit the Dead Sea on your own, like I did, and find a quiet spot (I found one to the south of the sea) 🌅. The area was surprisingly empty when I went, especially during summer ☀️, which made it more peaceful. Just be sure to carry some mineral water 💧 with you to rinse off after the dip, as the salty water can leave you feeling sticky.

It’s an impressive spot for a short visit, but don't expect to spend hours there—it’s not the most comfortable place to relax for long periods. Still, it's worth experiencing!
