Eaton Hotel offers a combination of entertainment, comfort, leisure and fine dining

The last time I stayed at the Eaton Hotel was two or three years ago. This time, I stayed because I received an email promotion from the hotel offering a two-night stay for only around $1,100 (including a 10% charge). It's quite a bargain, considering the recent reopening of independent travel, which has also led to a roughly 40% increase in local hotel rates. Now, I can stay for two nights for just $550. You can choose any date; I chose the most expensive Friday to Sunday. The room rates were at pandemic-era prices.

I arrived at the hotel on time for check-in at 1,500, but there was a long waiting list. After about 15 minutes, I was able to complete the check-in process, put down a $1,000 deposit, and check in. The room wasn't large, but it was quite unique, featuring a new smart TV with access to YouTube, Netflix, and other platforms for watching movies and shows. Also, since it was on the 12th floor, the view was fantastic, with panoramic views of the Yau Ma Tei and Jordan cityscapes. A large cork notice board sits in front of the desk, where residents can pin receipts, photos, and flyers. Taking special photos of your trip will add a touch of life to your trip.
