Spring wildflowers in Death Valley? Totally unexpected and utterly stunning! After rare rains, the desert floor exploded in blooms — golden desert sunflowers, purple phacelia, and pink primrose carpeting the vast landscape. I drove through stretches that looked like painted fields against dramatic mountains. The cool spring temps made hiking through canyons comfortable — way better than summer heat! #springitinerary tip: time your visit right after a rainy winter, and bring plenty of water and a wide-angle lens — the views are epic. Seeing life bloom in such an extreme place was unforgettable!
