🚉Transportation
Self-driving/carpooling/chartering: 3.5 hours from Shangri-La and 6 hours from Lijiang. They are all national highways and the Yunnan-Tibet Highway. The road conditions are good. You may encounter hidden ice in winter, so drive slowly and bring anti-skid chains with you.
Bus: There are buses from Shangri-La to Feilai Temple, which depart from Shangri-La Bus Station. There are many buses every day. The journey takes 4 hours. You can buy tickets online in advance.

You must go to see the golden mountain in the sunshine of Meili Snow Mountain. The feeling at that moment cannot be imagined by looking at pictures or videos. It is said that you can only see the "Sunshine Golden Mountain" 40 days out of 365 days a year. If you see it, you will be lucky for the whole year!

🍲Food recommendations:
Yak hotpot (I personally recommend Shunshun snacks), Nisi chicken, Tibetan fragrant pig, butter tea, barley cake, Matsutake chicken, and pea tips. The special hot pot costs about 80 yuan per person. The yak beef hot pot and barley cakes are really delicious!

📝Note tips:
Sunscreen, sunglasses, hats and other sun protection products. Altitude sickness medication.
Wear warm clothes and keep warm to avoid catching a cold, as it is very cold on the snowy mountains.
For those who are afraid of altitude sickness, it is only effective to drink Rhodiola rosea a week in advance, and prepare oxygen in advance.
