Huzhou is truly a low-key treasure city
I actually found a 1,700-year-old water town—Xinshi Ancient Town
Here, the waterways crisscross extensively with dozens of ancient bridges connecting both banks
It has its own unique charm of a Jiangnan water town
Although not as famous as Xitang or Wuzhen
It can be considered a hidden gem among water towns
Plus, it's free with no entrance fee, making it worth a visit
1️⃣Not as crowded as major attractions, with fewer tourists on weekends, no crowds, and a great ancient town atmosphere
2️⃣Hasn't been homogenized like modern commercial ancient towns, with less commercial influence
Some shops sell special snacks and small items
3️⃣Many teahouses to choose from—pick any one to enjoy tea while appreciating the scenery, truly relaxing
4️⃣Great for photography, pictures turn out beautifully
