First stop of summer vacation: heading to Xiangyue Lake with my travel buddy to breathe in some fresh air!

Finally, summer vacation has arrived for the kids in Hangzhou! For the first trip, comfort is the priority, so we chose to stay at Xiangyue Lake cabins, just a half-hour drive from Hangzhou.

🌳 The entire resort is nestled in a bamboo forest, surrounded by lush greenery and filled with the fragrance of nature. 🏠 The cabins are made of Douglas fir wood, and as soon as you step inside, you're greeted by a subtle pinewood aroma.

Here, you can enjoy activities like archery 🎯 and paddleboarding. However, with the outdoor temperatures in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai being quite high recently, we opted to take the kids to the indoor play area to enjoy the air conditioning!

In the evening, we soaked in the outdoor swimming pool. Swimming 🏊‍♂️ amidst the bamboo forest and mountain views was a first for us—breathing fresh air while splashing around was pure joy.

Xiangyue Lake has been bustling lately, hosting a water-splashing festival that runs until August 24th. With shuttle buses available on demand, it's the perfect getaway for families looking to create unforgettable summer memories!
