🌿Moganshan Second Visit Guide! This time I discovered even more hidden joys~💫
Last time I went to Moganshan and wasn’t ready to leave, so I planned another trip in August 2025. Every visit brings new surprises! Here’s the upgraded experience, jot it down👇
🌬️New ways to beat the heat
Besides taking the shuttle to visit attractions, I found a super cozy bamboo tea house halfway up the mountain! Order a cup of local green tea🍵, feel the breeze through the hall and watch the bamboo leaves sway—100 times more pleasant than an air-conditioned room~
The chilled watermelon bought by the stream must be paired with a bamboo chair. Eating watermelon while listening to the flowing water—that’s the right way to enjoy summer🍉
📜Cultural details delight
The tour guide’s stories about the red history were fascinating, but my favorite was the old photos at Baiyunshan Pavilion! You can still see the marks of the past on the weathered walls, instantly transporting you back in time~
The wooden stairs at Chiang Kai-shek’s official residence creak when you step on them, and sunlight streams through the shutters—perfect for vintage-style photos📸 (Remember to speak softly and show respect)
🏰Hidden activity recommendations
Naked Stables is not just for staying overnight; their afternoon tea is amazing too! Sitting on the castle terrace overlooking the mountains, you can pretend you’re on vacation in Europe🏞️ (Booking in advance is more cost-effective)
Walk 10 minutes uphill from Jianchi Scenic Area to find a small waterfall. It’s quiet and peaceful with the soothing sound of water—perfect for zoning out and relaxing~
⚠️Little reminders:
Sunscreen is a must! But the sunlight before 10 a.m. is gentle, ideal for watching the light and shadow changes at Xuguang Platform~
Playing for 3-4 hours is just right. Don’t rush; wandering slowly is the true rhythm of Moganshan~
Every time I come, it feels like a paradise away from the world, with both the weight of history and the freshness of nature🌿 Beat the heat + recharge + learn something new—I’ll definitely come back next time!
