Off-season New Year

Today we came to the One&Only Resort in Desaru Coast, which is ranked 90th in the 2024 Asia's 100 Luxury Hotels. The hotel has a private beach. We took a taxi from Forest City for an hour and a half, which is a bit far and cost about 200RM. It is relatively close to the first checkpoint and can be reached within an hour. The hotel’s long swimming pool is located right in the middle of the entrance. There are green plants on both sides of the pool. Behind the pool is the beach where you can see the sea.
I chose the Rainforest Exquisite King Suite, which is 105 square meters and very large and comfortable. As you enter the room, there is a small courtyard and a small swimming pool. On one side is the bathroom and on the other side is the master bedroom. There is a large living room through the master bedroom. Behind the blinds is a tropical rain forest full of green plants. There is a back door through the living room. Two paths lead directly to the beach, with sunshine, sand and tropical rainforest. The overall landscape and decoration style are very Balinese, giving you a feeling of pretending to be in Bali. There is a welcome fruit plate and snacks in the room, and another kind of cake snack will be delivered when you turn down the bed at night. The room costs about 4100 RMB per night, which is a good price and suitable for vacation.
