Who says budget trips can’t be fancy? On my way to Desaru, I treated myself to a Nyonya-style steamboat buffet that looked straight out of a boutique hotel.

I loved how every detail—from the colorful plates to the neatly arranged buffet counter—felt so well thought out. The broth was rich, the ingredients fresh, and the dessert section surprisingly generous. A must-try for anyone craving comfort food mid-trip!
