Sometimes the best meals happen unexpectedly. On my Desaru trip, I dropped by this elegant restaurant for lunch and was greeted by a full Nyonya steamboat buffet setup. The vibrant colors, delicate tableware, and cozy seating made it feel so special.

I enjoyed trying different soup bases — one spicy, one herbal — each with its own comforting taste. It’s a spot that proves good food doesn’t have to be expensive. A lovely break before heading toward the sea breeze of Desaru!
