The ancient Jinniu Road is full of strong west wind

2300 years ago, the most powerful military empire in China at that time - the Qin State had risen, and it was coveting the Chengdu Plain known as the 'Land of Abundance'.
Between ambition and prey, there was just a lack of a channel for advancement.
The king of Qin at that time was King Huiwen of Qin. He heard that the king of Shu was particularly greedy, so he falsely claimed that Qin had found five stone cows that could pull golden dung, and he did not dare to enjoy it alone, and was willing to give it to the king of Shu.
The king of Shu was overjoyed when he heard the news, and immediately sent the strong men known as 'Wuding' in the country to go to Qin to receive the stone cows.
The so-called 'Wuding', I guess it should be the leader of five road repair teams.
When the 'Wuding' strong men dragged the stone cows from Qin to Zitong in Shu, a landslide occurred and they were all buried in the deep mountains.
In 316 BC, the Qin general Sima Wrong, who followed, stepped on the road built by the Shu strong men with their flesh and blood, and took the whole territory of Shu in just ten months.
The ancient Jinniu Road is the earliest official road in the history of Shu, and it is the ancient highway from Chengdu to Xi'an. It was not abandoned until the Sichuan-Shaanxi Highway was built during the Republic of China, and it has been used for more than 2200 years.
In those years, Zhuge Liang 'Six Out of Qishan', a large number of Shu troops and military supplies were continuously transferred to the northern expedition front line through the ancient post road.
During the Tianbao period of the Tang Dynasty, Yang Guifei liked to eat lychees. Emperor Xuanzong ordered local officials to transport lychees into Beijing by horse through the Shu Road. Du Mu once wrote a poem about it: Looking back at Chang'an, the mountains are piled up, and the thousand doors on the top of the mountain open one after another. A horse in the red dust makes the concubine laugh, no one knows it is the lychee coming.
The Qing Guoqin prince went to Tibet, bypassing the Shu Road, 'The car and horse are two or three miles, and the west wind rolls the banner.'
The ancient Shu Road preserved in the Baima Pass Scenic Area in Deyang today is built during the Warring States Period when 'Wuding opened the mountain'. It is one of the great projects in the history of road construction in China.
The Baima Pass section of the ancient Jinniu Road, starting from the old Baima field in the south to the Luofeng Slope in the north, is 4.7 kilometers long. It was originally paved with bluestone, with ruts in the middle of the road. The current strip stone has been basically destroyed, and only the sections in the Pang Tong Temple, Jinjia Yaokou, and Luofeng Slope are relatively complete.
This section of the ancient Shu Road is the earliest and most complete ancient Jinniu Shu Road in Sichuan Province, and is known as the living fossil of ancient Chinese transportation.
