Suvarnabhumi Airport is Thailand's major airport, located in Samut Prakan Province. It boasts comprehensive facilities, including hotels, public transportation, and shopping. It can handle over 60 million passengers annually. It was recently awarded a 4-star rating by Skytrax. In the future, a new terminal will be built to accommodate even more passengers. Today, we'll show you just a few of its highlights.
- The check-in area features landmarks like the Buddha statue we photographed. There are also other attractions to explore. It's quite crowded, and most importantly, they have a facial recognition check-in and registration kiosk, which is incredibly convenient. You can scan your face right through the ticket gates without having to wait in line for ticketing.
- Magic Food Point is located on the first floor, next to Gate 8. The food and drinks are inexpensive and open 24 hours. If you're flying into Suvarnabhumi, you can stop here for a bite beforehand.
- Along the walkway to the gates, after passing through ticket control, there are many restaurants to choose from, though the prices are higher than the food court outside. There are also souvenir and general merchandise shops, making it very convenient.
- At the gates, after passing through baggage control, drinking water is not allowed, but there are shops inside selling a variety of drinks and snacks. If you walk a little further, there will be a coin-operated machine with cheaper prices than the shops that sell them. #GetDiscountsWithoutLuck #BangkokAttractions
