After wandering around Dongguan, I stayed at Tangxia Sanzheng Banshan Hot Spring Hotel this time, and I was completely won over by its looks and service! The whole hotel feels like it’s built inside a forest park, you can hear birdsong wherever you go. My favorite is the infinity pool, the water and sky blend so perfectly it feels like Bali in photos! The rooms feature a minimalist new Chinese style, and the rainforest shower and scenic bathtub in the bathroom won my heart; you can see the outline of tea mountains while soaking~

• Opening Hours: 10:00-23:00 (last entry at 21:30)
• Tip: Best to go at dusk to enjoy the sunset and the romantic atmosphere when the lights come on

• 10-minute walk to Tangxia Sightseeing Park, where you can catch locals practicing Tai Chi early in the morning
• 15-minute drive to Longfeng Mountain Film Studio, a filming location for many costume dramas

The freshly cooked Dongguan roast goose rice noodle soup at breakfast is amazing! The starlit BBQ bar by the pool is open until late, highly recommend the honey-glazed pork neck and seafood platter. Special praise for the room service’s sweet soups; the red bean soup ordered late at night was delivered warm in a ceramic pot~
