Paul Chiang Art Center: A Modern Art Museum in Donghe Township

A newly emerging art museum in the rural area of Taitung, located in Donghe Township near Jinzun Beach. The art center was co-designed by architect Lin Youhan and artist Paul Chiang, drawing inspiration from the artist's creations. The architecture features extensive use of exposed concrete, presenting a clean and minimalist aesthetic that blends seamlessly with the natural surroundings.

The Gongyuan Reception Center and Chenghan Pavilion are modeled after Paul Chiang's 13.5-ping sculpture works. The site includes five exposed concrete buildings and a sculpture park. The center harmonizes with the surrounding coastal mountain range, incorporating varying slopes and window designs to invite natural light. The interplay of light and shadow creates a breathtakingly natural scenic experience.
