Nanmen Bay of Dongshan Island

Nanmen Bay on Dongshan Island in Zhangzhou, Fujian is a great place for vacation and leisure.
After the tide goes out, the sandbar emerges from the water and a double-sided sea is formed. The sand here is very fine and it is very comfortable to walk on it barefoot. The original plan for today was to hike from the coast of Nanyu Shuangmianhai to Nanmen Bay. However, due to the road closure due to construction work, we returned along the original route and took a taxi directly there.
As soon as you enter Nanmen Bay, you will be fascinated by the scene before you: the vast bay and the ancient village built according to the terrain. At first glance, you would think you are in Cinque Terre in Italy. No wonder it attracted the filming of "The Left Ear" here.
Go up the famous stairs, pass Wengong Temple, and reach Zuo'er Terrace, where you can overlook the panoramic view of Nanmen Bay. Although it was raining, the tourists were still in high spirits.
What I like most is to sit on the embankment and drink tea or coffee facing the sea. It is so comfortable.
There are many scenic spots and historical sites here, but I was unable to visit them due to time constraints and will leave it for next time.
