Colorful houses tucked away on the seashore, the diesel fumes of fishing boats mingled with the aroma of coffee, and the salty, fishy smell of every household's catch—all define Nanmen Bay. As the filming location for the movie "The Left Ear," Nanmen Bay has become incredibly popular, making it a must-visit for visitors to Dongshan Island.

During the day, Nanmen Bay is a vibrant spectacle. Even though the scorching sun scorches the embankment, it can't resist the enthusiasm of tourists. Many enjoy sitting under umbrellas on the embankment, sipping tea and chatting. The soothing sound of waves crashing against the rocks, the cool breeze, and the breathtaking scenery beneath the blue sky and white clouds make it all worthwhile.

At night, the food stalls become bustling with activity. House signs light up, the sound of waves is drowned out by the sounds of rock-paper-scissors, and the air is filled with the garlicky aroma of grilled oysters and the subtle sourness of beer foam.

Nanmen Bay is also home to numerous unique coffee shops and cultural and creative stores, perfect for a relaxing coffee break or to bring home some souvenirs.
