Prepare to write something about the UAE
As a transit point for every long-distance flight, I have always had the impression that the United Arab Emirates comes quietly and leaves in a hurry without leaving any trace. During this Easter holiday, my friends and I plan to travel to this country and visit it in depth.
✈️: London STN-Dubai DXB EK68
🏨:W Dubai - the Palm
Recommended tourist attractions:
🗼Burj Khalifa
As the conceptual "heart" and soul of the city of Dubai, the Burj Khalifa is 828 meters high and is definitely a must-see in Dubai. Observation decks are located on the 124th, 125th and 148th floors of the Burj Khalifa. The double-decker elevator will reach the top of the city at a speed of 10 meters per second. It is recommended to go up to the tower at night. The night view is really stunning! Unfortunately, my friend and I made a mistake in our arrangements and climbed to the top near noon. The photos are much inferior compared to those at night. . PS: There is an outdoor terrace on the 154th floor, where you can enjoy afternoon tea in the clouds☕️
🕍Al Fahidi Historic District
The complex of Arab historical buildings on the banks of Dubai Creek is called Bastakiya and is the ancient urban district of Dubai. These old buildings have been converted into shady cafes, art galleries and quirky shops. PS: Most of the vendors here can speak a little Chinese and understand it. I can only say that their shouting was not well controlled, and my friends and I were frightened. We didn’t get on the boat, and we didn’t take a few photos. In the end, we let a Chinese driver enter the neighborhood to take us out.
🔔Dubai Gold Spice Souk
Having encountered a similar situation as in Bastakiya, I really recommend not to go there alone.
🛍Dubai Mall
Dubai Mall is really huge. We spent several days going there. It has a full range of luxury goods, except for Chanel. The fountain is beautiful and comes every 30 minutes, and the Tribes are great. There are so many snacks in Chinatown, and I miss the taste of domestic food. My friend and I ordered xiaolongbao and moss yogurt, and then went to eat Haidilao. PS: The United Arab Emirates is a Muslim country and has strict control over pork products. Xiaolongbao is stuffed with chicken. Haidilao also naturally does not have pork belly chicken. Personally, I still think it tastes better in London.
🔑This trip to the United Arab Emirates happened to coincide with the end of Ramadan. Everyone was out for activities, especially the Dubai Mall. There were so many people. We queued up to eat🍽and waited for a long time. Friends who are going for Easter remember to think about the restaurant in advance. If you can make a reservation, make a reservation first. If you can't make a reservation, go early. Weather in the United Arab Emirates in April
It’s already a bit hot, and the sun is very bright, so it’s recommended to wear sunscreen.
