Dujiangyan: Never buy a ticket to see Dujiangyan again!

Dujiangyan will make anyone who doesn't do their research think twice! After a long day of walking, I stayed up late to put together this guide to save you some legwork. I highly recommend saving it! ⭐

Dujiangyan is a long, narrow scenic area. If you want to see the whole of Dujiangyan, you have to climb the mountain and then go back down! If you don't want to be crying with sore legs on the way down, make sure you do your research before you go!
❷ You can think of it like this: the area surrounding it is called Dujiangyan Scenic Area.
The river that flows through it is Dujiangyan (the city), and next to it is the ancient city of Guanxian, which was built to complement the scenery. The attractions are all in one place, but they are quite spread out and far apart.

1️⃣st stop: Panda Valley
This is a base with 🐼, where you can see pandas eating and more.
You can choose whether or not to go based on your own situation.
2️⃣nd stop: Yingtianwo Selfie Spot at Panda Square
🤳🏻 Check in at the same spot as Dilraba Dilmurat
3️⃣rd stop: Dujiangyan Scenic Area
Tour route: [Highly recommend going backwards!] Enter the scenic area through Gate 4 and buy a one-way elevator ticket ➡️ Yulei Pavilion ➡️ Go down the mountain to Xiguan ➡️ Songmao Ancient Road ➡️ Erwang Temple ➡️ Anlan Suspension Bridge ➡️ Yuzui ➡️ Feisha Weir ➡️ Anpingkou ➡️ Nan Bridge
(Trust me, this is the most leg-saving and direct route!)
4️⃣th stop: Guanxian Ancient City + Blue Tears
Go down from Dujiangyan Scenic Area to Guanxian Ancient City. The ancient city is quite commercialized, but the food is pretty good. We had rabbit head recommended by a local friend. After dinner, walk 5 minutes to Tianfuyuan to see the Blue Tears!
✅ Dujiangyan Travel Tips:
❶ Gate 4 is the only gate with an elevator to the top of the mountain. It is recommended to enter through Gate 4.
If you enter through other gates, you have to climb the mountain the whole way! Climb! Climb up the mountain!
❷ Don't go down from Qin Yan Tower! During the Spring Festival, the queue is so long you'll question your life choices.
❸ If you just want to see the Blue Tears, you don't need a ticket 🎫. Tianfuyuan is the best place to see the Blue Tears, and it's outside the scenic area.
