Healing Journey: Hegu Mountain Retreat🏡♨️

Last week, I took a short getaway to Dujiangyan and discovered this "fairy-tale-like homestay"—Hegu Mountain Retreat at the foot of Mount Qingcheng. It completely redefined my idea of a homestay!

At sunset, the view was absolutely breathtaking, and photos needed no filter!

The rooms blend Tang and Song Dynasty-inspired elegance with modern comforts: underfloor heating, a 100-inch XGIMI projector, and even wooden-handled toothbrushes. Each room has a private hot spring bath fed by mountain spring water. Soaking under the stars ✨ left my skin glowing the next day!

The food here deserves special praise! Breakfast features a "nine-grid" assortment of side dishes with nourishing congee, while lunch/dinner highlights local specialties like Qingcheng cured pork and gingko nut chicken stew. The chef’s skills are absolutely amazing—even better than nearby restaurants! Don’t miss their forest afternoon tea: sip Chinese tea with handmade pastries in a bamboo grove for a truly immersive experience.
