🚗 Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive in Xining → Qinghai Lake
Stay at the Grand View Lakeview International Hotel by Qinghai Lake, where you can enjoy the azure waters right from your window. July is the perfect time to see the blooming rapeseed flowers.

Day 2: Qinghai Lake → Chaka Salt Lake
The best time for photos at Chaka Salt Lake is between 4-6 PM. Bright-colored dresses make for stunning shots! Stay at the Camel Peak Inn inside the scenic area for convenience.

Day 3: Chaka → Dachaidan Emerald Lake
Aerial shots are a must to capture the emerald hues of the lake. Spend the night at the Starlight Wild Luxury Hotel and gaze at the Milky Way from your bed—pure romance!

Day 4: U-shaped Highway → Watery Yadan
Highlight of the day: epic road photos! Don’t forget sunglasses and a sun-protective jacket. Note: Dongtai Jinair Lake is currently closed, so don’t make the trip for nothing.

Day 5: Hei Dushan → Oil Base → Singing Sand Dunes
The Cold Lake Oil Base oozes retro charm, while Hei Dushan resembles the moon’s surface. Catch the sunset at the Singing Sand Dunes and stay nearby.

Day 6: Mogao Caves
Book your tickets in advance! The Class A ticket grants access to 8 caves with incredibly detailed guided tours.

Day 7: Jiayuguan Pass
Scale the "First Pass Under Heaven" and soak in the frontier scenery from the watchtower.

Day 8: Rainbow Danxia
The colors are most vibrant after rain, and Observation Deck No. 4 is ideal for sunset photos.
