Located in the eastern part of Duolun County, Inner Mongolia, Duolun Lake is a stunningly beautiful lake surrounded by high mountains and valleys. Visitors can admire the azure lake from the mountain tops or enjoy water activities by taking cruise boats or speedboats on the lake.
Please note that Duolun Lake Scenic Area is very large, and it takes about 2-3 hours to circle the entire lake. There is essentially only one dock in the entire scenic area where you can board boats for lake tours. If you miss it, you'll either have to turn back or miss out on the boat experience altogether. This boat dock is located at Yak Lake on the eastern route of the scenic area.

Yak Lake has wide-open waters with suitable depth, making it perfect for water recreation. The scenic area has built a 40-acre water dock here, equipped with safe and visually appealing water entertainment facilities such as painted pleasure boats, sightseeing boats, and yachts.
Opposite the Yak Lake dock, there is a 1.5-kilometer-long natural horseback riding track, an ideal place to experience horseback riding or watch equestrian performances.

The boat experience is one of the core water activities in Duolun Lake.
Ancient-style Painted Pleasure Boats: Designed with antique wooden boat aesthetics, perfect for leisurely cruising to the lake center and capturing panoramic views of the lake and mountains. Highly recommended in the afternoon when the light is soft, offering breathtaking views of orange sunsets and the S-shaped lakeside road.
Speedboat Surfing: Race across the 12.5-square-kilometer lake for an exhilarating and stress-relieving experience (approx. 80 RMB/person), though the ride is short, lasting only 5-6 minutes.
Rafting Adventure: A 1.2-kilometer natural river drift, known as the "First Drift of the Luan River." Wear waterproof shoes and hold on tight—rapid sections are patrolled by safety guides to ensure security.
